Enchanting

To enchant something is to infuse it with magickal energy. This energy can come from a variety of things from the elements or even yourself. Enchanting items to turn them into magical objects involves more than just intent - you must learn to channel and manipulate energy, and direct it into that item for enchanting to be successful.

• surround the item with crystals or herbs of corresponding intent
• place the item in front of a candle and meditate on your intent
• anoint the item with an oil or a charged water that corresponds to your intent
• hold the item and visualize it being filled with the desired energy
• hold the item and speak/sing your intent
• craft a symbol and keep the item near it
• write your intention on paper and keep it in an envelope with the object
• pass the item through incense smoke that represents your intent
• pair with a corresponding rune/tarot card and keep in an envelope

Tip: Time your enchantment according to the planetary hour, day of the week, time of the day, and lunar phase to increase the chances of a successful enchantment.
